International Youth Day and the Heroes Day

With the International Youth Day and the Heroes Day falling in the same week, we took to the streets of Harare to ask what the Youths  think of our Heroes, we liked their views, and especially enjoyed the young man who spoke towards the end of the clip, you can listen for yourself and also add your views in the comments box:

Heroes Day Special

So the past week Zimbabwe celebrated Heroes' Day on the Monday, but what does this day mean to us? We have been reminded time and again that we owe these heroes, (The Liberation Struggle ones) and yes, we agree, we owe them a lot, a lot more than just gratitude, which we immensely owe them, of course. But we must also be a  constant reminder of why they fought the liberation war, and help them analyse if what we have in the country is what they fought for, what else do we owe them?
