Hanke, a (John Hopkins University) has been following the economic trajectory in Zimbabwe and has concluded that it is probably the worst in the 21th century as it was the first to hyper-inflate topping up in 2007 with 50% inflation rate per month which was about 79, 6 billion percent. Annual inflation was estimated at 89, 7 sextillion percent. There after ,the dollarization stabilized the economy. This inflationary trend became the second highest after Hungary.
